The teacher said...

Geoff Bird is Marsha's ceramics teacher.
He gave her a challenge to make something looser, more free in design and glaze.  Thus the tray in the foreground.  Amazingly different from Marsha's other works around it.

I personally like the casserole!

Lovely oil container

On a whim Marsha Cozart made an oil container (is that the correct term?)

It came out so cute, though bigger than she expected.
And look at that gorgeous casserole!

Marsha is Geoff Bird's student.

Gallery Exhibit - Marsha Cozart

"He Said, She Said" Marsha Cozart
Marsha has worked primarily in functional pieces and has her own style.  But here she brings her sense of humor out with these delightful and simple forms.  She is a student of Geoff Bird's and has stretched her abilities with his guidance.
